There is a description of every enemy in Tomb Raider Last Revelation. Most also have screenshots. Some have more pictures if you click on them.
![]() Werner Von CroyVon Croy will guide you through the first level he will then race you in the second. Do as he says in the first level and he will teach you all the moves, kill boars and deactivate traps. |
![]() BoarThese beasts appear in the training levels, you have no weapons so just avoid them and let Von Croy kill them for you. |
![]() Sahib*He will set off some traps for you and kill scorpions and wild dogs if you bring them to him. He appears in the Tomb of Seth. |
![]() Red ScorpionsThese beasts appear out of nowhere and bite Lara's ankles. Kill them with pistols or lead them to Ahmed. They appear in the Tomb of Seth. |
![]() Mangy DogsThese dogs will try to attack you but they are not that clever or fast. You can easily kill them with pistols. They appear in the Tomb of Seth. They reappear in The Mastabas and continue to appear until the end of Inside the Great Pyramid. |
![]() MummiesYou can't kill these beasts because they are already dead, but they move slowly and don't do much damage when they do get to you, just keep out of their way. They appear in Burial Chambers. They reappear in Inside Menkaure's Pyramid but you can now kill them with explosive ammo. |
![]() Ornate DogsThese dogs are like the others but are black with gold decoration and slightly more vicious. They appear in Burial Chambers and Tomb of Semerkhet. |
![]() Men in White with Guns and SwordsThese men will shoot at you if you are a long way away and if you get closer they will start to attack you with their swords. They are quite dangerous but did quickly even under pistol fire. They first appear in Valley of the Kings and continue to appear until the end of Inside the Great Pyramid. |
![]() Black ScorpionsThese are similar to the red ones but are poisonous. They first appear in Temple of Karnak and continue to appear until the end of Khufu's Queens Pyramids . |
![]() BatsThe Bats will fly straight at you and try to attack. They do not do much damage so can easily be killed with pistols. They first appear in Scared Lake and continue to appear until the end of the game. |
![]() CrocodilesThey are similar to the ones in other games but can come out of the water and chase after you. They first appear in Sacred Lake and continue to appear on and off until the end of Citadel Gate. |
![]() Men in Black and Red with guns and swordsThey are more vicious than the other men and if they start waving their blades around them selves you cannot hurt them, so put your guns away to get them to let their guard down. They first appear in The Great Hypostyle Hall and continue to appear until the end of Inside the Great Pyramid. |
![]() BeetlesYou can't kill these beasts so just avoid them. They first appear in Tomb of Semerkhet and continue to appear until the end of Khufu's Queen's Pyramids. |
![]() Fire ElementalThese beasts chase after you and will set you on fire if it gets too close. Jump into a pool of water or get an water elemental to kill it. They first appear in Tomb of Semerkhet and continue to appear until the end of The Lost Library. |
![]() Guardian of SemerkhetThis is a giant bull cannot be killed with gun fire. Try to avoid it and use it to smash into things. It appears in Guardian of Sekermet and Street Bazaar. |
![]() SkeletonsThese can't be killed with normal gunfire. You can make them explode with explosive ammo - grenades etc, blast them into a pit with the shotgun or use the laser sight to blast their heads off (when using the laser sight on the PC you can employ a bug - if you press 1 while holding down look she will draw her pistols but you will still have laser targeting). They first appear in Costal Ruins and continue to appear until the end of Temple of Poseidon. |
![]() Water ElementalSimilar to fire ones but need a statue of a falcon to kill them. They appear in Catacombs and Temple of Poseidon. |
![]() Metal Men with Green Gems in their ChestsThese metal men have green gems in their chests they only get hurt when you hit that. They will groan when you hit them. The best strategy is to hop backwards away from them and then jump over them when you are cornered. One will mount a horse and is more trouble to kill. They don't usually do much damage and it is best to use pistols on them. They appear in The Lost Library. |
![]() Hammerhead SharkThis beast appears in Pharos, Temple of Isis. It is very hard to kill as you don't have a harpoon and there is no practical way to kill him from land. You can bait it out if you want but I found it was easier to just avoid it. Be careful as it can do you a lot of damage. |
![]() Ornate SkeletonsSimilar to the other skeletons but more lavishly decorated. They appear in Pharos, Temple of Isis and Cleopatra's Palace. |
![]() Golden BirdThese birds can shoot energy bolts at you or try to claw at you. They are quite slow flyers though and you know they are going to shoot when energy clusters around them. Just keep out of their reach and side flip when they launch bolts at you and you will easily kill them with pistols. They appear in Pharos, Temple of Isis and Cleopatra's Palace. |
![]() Cleopatra's GuardsThere are only two of these and they appear at the end of Cleopatra's Palace. They shoot energy bolts which home in on you. Getting behind them or side flipping are both effective strategy's for killing them. You can kill them with pistols but it takes a long time. |
![]() SnipersThey will either shoot at you or throw grenades. The grenades do not seem to do Lara any harm. You can sometimes kill them with the laser sight before they see you. They appear in the Cairo levels. |
![]() Automatic GunsThese guns will track and shoot you if you come into range. They will usually spray bullets but if you get very close they will swap over to flames. To destroy them you must hit the red mark on the back which can be difficult, you must use laser targeting. They appear in the Cairo levels. |
![]() Ice ElementalsTwo of these appear in City of the Dead. They are as damaging as other elementals but if you lead them into water they will freeze the surface and destroy themselves. |
![]() Flying BeetlesThey will fly to attack you and if they appear in twos they can be quite dangerous. If you don't have mush room to manoeuvre rolling constantly is a good method for dealing with them. They first appear in Chambers of Tulun and continue to appear until the end of Khufu's Queen's Pyramids. |
![]() Mechanical MinotaurThis beast appears in Chambers of Tulun. It bangs a hammer on the ground which can do you damage and knock you off ladders. |
![]() DragonThe Dragon appears in Citadel Gate and is guarding the entrance to the Citadel. You can't hurt him. Every time you hear his cry a swarm of locusts will appear. He breaths volleys of fire balls which you need to avoid. |
![]() LocustsLocusts are similar to beetles as Lara will not target them. They do eventually disperse so just run until they disappear. They appear in the Cairo levels. |
Undead CrusaderYou can't kill these enemies but their swords can be used to remove blockages. They appear in the Citadel. |
![]() Giant ScorpionThese massive scorpions have poisonous tails and are very hard to kill. I recommend you retreat to safety or use more powerful weapons. They first appear in Menkaure's Pyramid and continue to appear until the end of Khufu's Queen's Pyramids. |
![]() Egyptian SoldiersThese men will not shoot you unless you attack them first. They are pretty harmless. They appear in Menkaure's Pyramid and Khufu's Queen's Pyramids. |
![]() Menkaure's GuardianThis beast appears in Inside Menkaure's Pyramid. It takes a long time to kill and fires fiery bolts but there are four ways of dealing with it. 1. Side flip left and right constantly, you will still take some damage using this method. 2. Retreat into the tunnel and shoot from there, there is one point where you can get him and he will not fire on you. 3. Crouch down right next to him and his bolts will go over your head. 4. Run in grab the key and run out again, you don't need to kill him. |
![]() Mastabas MonkeysThese three monkeys appear in the Mastabas. One is brown and will open a door to help you continue. There is also a black one with gold decoration and a see through gold tinted one these will both attack you, they are no more dangerous than the ones at the beginning of TR3 |
![]() Khufu's GuardianThis beast appears in Khufu's Queen's Pyramids. It is similar to Menkaure's Guardian but its bolts do less damage. The way I killed it was to shoot it and then side flip into the passage way when it shot a bolt until it was close. When it was close I ran to it and crouched down next to it until it died. U sing this method I lost little life. |
![]() AmmitThese creatures appear in the Temple of Horus, they are very hard to kill but only appear if you pour the wrong amount of water into the scales, so you do not need to release them. |
![]() SetWhen you replace the amour of Horus in Temple of Horus, Seth appears. You must reimprison him. You must find your way back to the beam of light further up and seal him in. |
